Simon Zust - Success Partner

After studying business in Christchurch, Simon’s career has spanned numerous roles across logistics, sales and marketing, business development, customer success and not to mention building his own successful businesses.

Most recently and for the past 8 years, he has worked for 3 global software companies, where he has managed client portfolio’s up to $20M in contracted revenue (ARR) and maintained a 97% client retention rate. Core to these roles has been the ability to identify client pain points or frustrations and implement solutions to ensure their success.

He’s a strong believer in the strength of accountability a consultant brings when it comes to executing on a vision or strategic plan, and his project management skills ensure these plans are executed on. Afterall; “A half-baked plan that is executed, is 100% better than a great plan never started” and “Having a vision for what you want is not enough. Vision without execution is hallucination.” ~ Thomas A. Edison.

Simon is also adept at cutting through the noise by breaking down complex problems, identifying the root cause and putting into place practical solutions that get results.

Alongside his professional career, Simon volunteers his time to small companies as a business mentor, his clients range from start up phase to well established firms looking to grow or build succession plans.

Simon hails from Queenstown but now lives in Christchurch with his partner and their border collie, outside of work you’ll find him in the mountains four-wheel driving in his built up Landrover or skiing some fresh powder.
